Telugu Joint Action Committee (Telugu JAC) is a human rights organization founded with the objective of working to secure rights for ethnic, civil, political, national, religious and linguistic minority in general and Telugu people in particular.
The organization is set up in this year, 2014 by a group of activists and academics, “Who feel a special concern that the rights of minorities to preserve and develop their cultural integrity are being infringed in many ways…..the Telugu JAC has been established to protect the rights of minorities to co-exist with majorities, by objective study and consistent national public exposure of violations of fundamental rights as defined by the Indian Constitution and protect from discrimination.”
Telugu JAC raises funds for its work from individuals, trusts and foundations and governments. All of Telugu JAC activities and data bases are available for free from the website but the organization does encourage anyone using them to make a donation to support the work of the organization for future research, advocacy and support to associates.
